I think it's the high altitude compensater. Not all trucks have them.

Where can I buy a new one?

Or can I leave #7 hose unplugged?

where do the hoses go to the carb or some where else, if the go to the top of the carb right next to the air inlets then you can block those off, most trucks have them blocked off but if not then let me know. really need more pics.

Might be wrong answer?

Hard to tell whats broken, guess its the hose nipple. If you have some skils and some idle time you can clean the area real well and lightly sand both sides of break wouldn't hurt. Wipe with a q-tip and perhaps acetone, then use epoxy-gel (regular epoxy is too brittle imo) to bond the nipple (dont get excitited . once hard apply a layer of gel over lapping the bonded connection at least 1/4" to reinforce. I've done this repair many times and lasts well but as you now know we can't pull hard on these old plastic parts like they were new. Wait at least 24 hours before attaching hose, 48hrs is better.

ps. I've done this also if you want a good looking strong fix, splice the broken piece with a small brass tube into ID of plastic using a very light coat of gel-epoxy.

I believe that the High Altitude Compensation Kit is only for the carbureted 22rs. The computer on the 22re should compensate for the thinner air in higher altitudes.
