Perhaps contact their customer service department.

Professional install?

Situation under which they broke?

Without a receipt you are probably out of luck.

Detroit warranty is 1 year / 100K miles in a used vehicle.

http://www.eaton.com/ecm/groups/publ.../ct_128312.pdf

See page 22 for warranty; see page 1 for Eaton/TracTech contact info. Ten bucks says no receipt = no dice (just like in the rest of the world).

Service parts are available: http://www.eaton.com/ecm/idcplg?IdcS...Name=CT_128481

Something tells me you didn't buy these new; are you sure they're Detroits, and that they were set up properly?

What did you do to break it? Poor installation? I've had them behind 500 hp big blocks and never had a problem.

super common. That is why we all run arbs or spools up front with HA and detroits in the rear. Detroits cant take any kind of shock loading or they fail and the front end sees more shock loading than the rear, partially due to the wieght of the motor and because the front r&p is spinning in reverse(coast side). Search pirate and there are many, many posts in all types of front axles that have seen detroits fail. They can fail in the rear as well but it usually is when a rear axle breaks and the shock takes them out. IF you want a detroit up front you should move to a HP diff and you should gain some strength back.

I would weld my front, do 27 spline longs and do the cheap HA before i would throw another $600 detroit up front.
