OK so i have a problem, i put on the 3in body lift on the cab I LOVE IT but .... my throttle linkage is ed up, ok so i lifted it set it down bulted it down and was going to drive it i got in to start it and my gas peddle would not move! at all. so i was like wtf.. i started it and everthing was ok then i pushed my pedal down n it stuck, i looked at it and what it is, is the throttle linkage bracket is it too high i unbolted it and then everything was fine, besides the idle woudlnt go down cuz it was just haning there basically. so my quesiton is how do i fix this? i looked it over and the best think i can think of is to get some spacers to bring the bracket forward towards the engine, then bring it down a lil that way its bout where it was stock????? thats the only real issue i have had other then my fan was hitting a hose clamp and stopped spinning so i over heated lol. any idea thanks sorry for the long message.

Any particular reason that a thread about a 1980 truck is in the 86-95 forum?

well mine was a 2inch bodylift, not a three, so you most likely need to mount it lower. did you get a shifter extension? do you have the extended tube for the gas tank?

well your gonna need a longer tube for the gas tank, so dont lift the bed til you get it,
and i hate having the 2 inch body lift and that short stick, the shifter extender just makes it so the stick is the height it should be.

mine came in my kit, just take it off and run it down to ace hardware or whatever local place around you that has tubing at various lengths and pick some up and hose clamp it on there
