Bed sticker found........
While washing my 81 truck today I noticed this sticker on the bed front between the cab.......guess it confirms I got a California bed.......amazed it survived 32 years........

Cover it with the blue painters tape, its not aggresive adhesive and should not lift the sticker when you pull it off...

They are hard to photograph given the tight location....the pic I posted was the best of 5 attempts.....would be easier if the cab was off..

I'm going to have to see if mine still has that sticker. Not holding out too much hope because I know it was repainted from the rootbeer brown to china white, and I doubt the dude painting cared.

Its located on the driver side between cab and bed near the top .....
