Aftermarket Fuel Sending unit..
I pulled my sending unit and it's toast. Tried cleaning and reviving it per a couple other threads on here but it's got a couple broken wires on the wind.
I found this aftermarket unit on Ebay and ordered it. It's coming from Thailand and it's only $30.00 shipped so I thought, what the heck. It looks exactly like my stock one.

Question is, has anyone tried one of these units and did they work?
Thanks

IF your original sending unit has the 5 hole flange and is separate from the fuel pickup it should fit OK. Looking at the item on Ebay I'm assuming your truck is a 1982? That sounds correct. I've seen these units offered in the US. Most of them today are made in China so getting one from Thailand is just getting one closer to the source. They are simple units and should work OK.
