I’m want to convert a 2.2L diesel 2wd to a 4wheel drive don’t have much experience with these diesels some guy told any transmission will hook up to it but I just want to confirm especially looking at marlin crawlers 2wd transmission for a diesel doesn’t look like the gaser Toyota transmissions
Those diesels are pretty rare so there might not be a lot of ppl here who know abt converting transmissions over..maybe you can find more info on an australian forum where theyve imported more diesels.
A buddy of mine has an 81? Diesel. I forget the engine number. he had a hard time finding parts for it but eventually got it running pretty well.
