so the other day i got a 1986 4runner and was wondering if it is possible to just change the body motor, etc over to a 1983 4wd longbed frame? if anyone has any info on this it would be a great help. thanks

 

Sure, it's possible. Anything's possible. But, no. Just changing a 1986 4Runner body, motor, etc. over to a 1983 4wd longbed frame isn't. Unless you plan on doing some major modifications to the frame first. Namely chopping 6" out of each frame rail(in the right spot) and welding it back together, to shorten the wheel base enough. Then figuring out how in the hell you need to re-attach the body, motor, etc. mounts to it(since they probably won't be in the right place).
