82 4x4 Pickup Steering Wheel Options

The factory steering wheel is cracked and spreading in a couple of places so I want to replace it. I am trying to keep the truck as stock as possible but I haven't come across a reasonable factory replacement. What are you guys using out there? Any pics?

Thanks!

I'm doing the same on my 84 and there are some pics/info on this thread > https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...-swaps-233248/

Don't know how much translates across the generations.

Thanks .. wasn't really that hard ...
I sourced an old leather Jacket from "Sally Anne's" ($20.00 investment) .. it was from the 80's , so it was a perfect color match .. it was a used mens hip coat , so lots of nicely "aged" leather .
cut it up , made some shift boots , console lid cover , and stitched a new wheel wrap on ..
did this in the evenings after work .. I get bored watching TV , so I always need something else to occupy my mind .
