Just got a uncracked dash door panels and carpet from a nice sr5 2wd 82 yota. I am considering buying the tilt steering column and the tach gauge cluster from him as well. Will they fit without to much dramas? I have and 1983 first gen just plain jane.

the gauge cluster won't have the 4wd light, you could tear into them and make a 4wd cluster with the tach out of the 2, also you might not have the wire for the tach on your truck, i didn't. not sure about the steering column though

Thanks for the info. Sorry to hear about your truck I read your post on craigslist that thing looked sweet hope you get it back. My parents live off Sullivan in Valley.

no problem, pm 82blueyota if your truck doesn't have the tach wire, he did that switch and was going to help me with mine but i never got around to it.
ya i hope so too, we'll just see i guess, been 2 weeks now.
