Nothing will be a direct bolt in. For the mods I had to do to fit the 85's, you might as well go with what OC suggested and find some nice Acura seats or something. I had to drill a hole or two for each seat.

I got my truck off craigslist from Livingston.

Helena's not so bad! Although it depends on what you're looking for...

I am a firm believer this truck only has 94,000 some odd miles on it. I found an old title that the original owner put down 80,000 or so miles on it. I cannot remember the year he put down because now I cannot find it. The guy selling it swore it had 194,000 miles and I sure wasn't about to argue with him.

Does anyone know how I can find out the actual milage on this truck? Thanks in advance

OK found the old title and on 11/13/2000 the milage wrote down was 81,111 and when I bought the truck the plate tags expired in 2003. So it still can be possible that the truck could have been driven over 100,000 miles in three years. I am still not sure the actual milage. Hmm I wonder how Nancy Drew would figure this out?

Glassing for elk tonight! This truck is so much fun. I especially enjoy bouncing my head off the cab roof when I hit a bump.

NICE.

Good seats really help with the bumpiness. But yeah, these trucks ride like tanks, although I'll bet yours is smoother than mine with that longer wheelbase. I just put on new seat pads and it's amazing how much better they make the ride feel..Only thing I can think of for your mileage is just looking at the wear of the truck. It's hard to tell on a truck so old, but check the wear on the pedals. If they're pretty unworn, you can guess that maybe it does have lower mileage. Mine brake and clutch pedal rubber covers wore right off...they're just metal right now. That's on a truck with 170,000. If yours are in great shape, that ought to tell you something.

Hopefully both of us will be loading up elk into our trucks this fall!

Excellent truck! The paint is great. All I can say is do NOT repaint it. And if you do, make sure you find the original stripes before you paint it. Fix the inside and you'll have a gem on your hands. These trucks rock!

That truck was up on C-list for quite a while, I thought about picking it up a few times. I was wondering if it sold or the guy just got tired of re-posting it.
