81 long bed lockers

i have a 81 toyota with 33 swampers and im buying a aussie locker for the front and cant make up my mind if i want a spool or aussie for the rear, its my daily driver for about the next year or so. i have heard many different ideas and i dont have much money and need to save as much as i can, any info can help, im not worried about tire wear and turning as i live in washington where it rains 10 outta 12 months a year

an Aussie will be better than a spool in the rear since you don't have much money.

spend a lil more on the locker, and save your tire wear.

set of tires = ~$500-$1200
aussie is like $250 i believe
spool is like $175

get a spool, and you'll be getting new tires pretty quick no matter where you live.

how long have you had it welded or i should say how bad have your tires worn mine are new with nubs still lol and i dont wanna buy new ones every 6 months at 1200 bucks, i have a lock right in my sammi rear and it is nice but locks and on locks at wierd times, i will put the aussi in the rear and wait and save some money for the front if it makes that big of diff i just herd spools are better off road and more predictable

yea ijust plan on selling my sammi and buying a little car and making my toy a wheeler as soon as posible, but that wont be for like a year and i dont wanna regret haveing a locker then instead of a spool but if they preform good then it doesnt really matter i guess
