I have a 81 yota 4x4 w/ 22R, I was told the idle solenoid was no good, plus I want to upgrade. I need a new carb and was thinking about a weber 36 Synchro which is is a modified version of the 34DGEC carburetor.......not to shure what that means, Im not to tech savy. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Belive its just differnt jets, but you could be gettin a knock off not a true weber, I relized that when I bought mine its a 34 34 but its not stamped with weber on the side.

 

weber 38 if you want some performance gains, I like mine.
