80 4x4 wont move

my 22r runs but as soon as u put a load on it like trying to go somewhere it dies any ideas please help

I dunno, check your fuel filter, plugs, and check and make sure the gas in your tank isn't old.

had the same problem with my 77, put it into drive and it'd die. Timing was way off.

let it warm up first and see if that helps, how long has it been sitting? the carb. maybe messed up

the fuel filter needs changing i bet...its cheap enough, try that first. good luck, keep us posted what the problem was.

It could also be the carburetor. Will it rev past idle? There is a seprate circuit in the carburetor for idle. If the main circuit is clogged, then it would idle well, but not rev.
