Hi,

Took this rubber "shield" w/steel bracket off the truck 3 years ago - vaguely(?) recall it was attached to a radiator bolt on R side but I can't for the life of me figure out how it fits and for what purpose - Called a Toyota dealer parts guy who thought it might be part 53184A on L/Drvrs side near/behind headlight (see diagram) but I can't figure out where. 6.5" Long & 5.5" Wide. Any ideas? Thanks,

I took that off mine too, and never put it back on. I didn't even know it was there and it fell off when I removed the radiator. I couldn't figure out how it was suppose to go back on, so I left it off. No side effects that I can see from not having it

 

does /did the truck have A/C ?

 

Yes it has AC -

 

yeah , Its the shield down by the bottom bolt of the rad
there are 2 - 1 left and 1 right
