63" GM leaf spring question

I'm planning to use the 63" leafs in the rear of my 82 pickup and some stock rear springs up front, I trying to accomplish 4"-5" of lift and from what I've heard I'm going to need to add a couple leafs to stock yota spring packs that I put up front but I was curious if I'd need to add some to the 63" GM leafs out back as well, how much height do you usually get out of the 63" spring packs? (I'll be using new GM leafs, not used)

I am also going to be doing 63"s and RUF. From what I hear you should not have to add any leafs the the GM springs. You can control the height by the size of the shackles you use (i.e. bigger shackles more lift)

Depends entirely on which 63" spring combination you are using for the purpose of your application. If you read one of the dozens of 63" swap guides they all reference the differences between 2wd and 4wd chevy spring packs in stock form - 3 vs 4 leaves, overload vs no-overload leaf...
you'll likely be controlling height via shackles, blocks, type of spring hangers added, etc.
