5 Pin Regulator Test?

5 Pin Regulator Test?
Does anyone know how to test a 5 pin (A-circuit) voltage regulator? The fsm goes into great detail for testing the 6 pin regulator, but there's nothing on the 5 pin regulator. I'm having charging issues, and want to rule out everything before throwing money at it.
