What have you typically seen the side marker 4WD badges going for around here & on ebay?

 

i have been out bid a few times on ebay...anywhere from $25-40....

Yeah I don't need any, but I hear things now and then making it seem like in some areas of the country, at least, they are a bit rare. There's a guy in town here with probably 5 trucks with at least one emblem each on them. He said he'd beat whatever the going price was, so I'm trying to get an idea of the going price.

 

look into a sign shop in your area. they may be able to make you some that look the same. or you could change it up a little.

 

I gave the last 2 I had away , now I only have 1 ... and I need another one .

 

That's where I got all of mine, along with my 79, my 80 cab, and 82 parts truck.

A few went on the toolboxs, a few in my room, a few on the truck haha, I like emblems...especially 1st gen ones

 

you guys have all the luck any 1st Gen I find in the boneyard is usually a 2wd and picked over

 

There was a crap load of Toyota's in the junkyards last year, including alot of 1st gens in both 2wd and 4wd form. This year not so much...might be b/c scrap prices bottomed out. But they are slowly going back up so hopefully by the summer the good stuff will be in.

Right....like I mentioned, I've heard people are looking for them so I'm seeing what I can do. I don't need any. Just want to see what a fair price is if I find some.

No offense and I appreciate the help, but do some people just read the title, interpret it their own way and post without actually reading the original post or any of the responses? Maybe it's just early in the morning and I need to lighten up.

old thread,but seeing that i need some emblems...did you ever come up with some?.
i found a guy on here that wanted like 60$ for both,but decided to wait it out for some others.
