22r engine performance
I am looking to get a little more performance out of the old 22r. I am on a budget and looking at getting a cam, header, flowmaster, and a weber. Will this be worth the money, or should I stick with what i have.
Cam- $100
Header~ $150
Flowmaster- $80
Weber- $300

I've got a weber and a header on my 82 22R. It make a difference, but the biggest difference has been regearing. I ran factory 4.10's for years with 31's, but put some 4.56 gears in to run 32's and it runs like it did with 235's and 4.10 gears.

I'm going to take the boggers off and go with 33 mud rovers. Right now I am not going to worry about regearing beacuse I had 35's and it turned them good.

i did the weber and also bought an offie intake (not on yet) and have the header (not on either)...the carb helped me out quit a bit but took some tinkering to get right. Here soon enought the offie intake and carb will be for sale...I am converting to to an 85 22re.
