22r cutting out or loading up?

22r cutting out or loading up when getting on it, it's a new 22r and a weber 32/36 not sure exactly how to explain it, but I driving starter to get on it or hold at a speed and it will start to slowly start to cut out and then it gets worse

I've been there, my issue turned out to be that someone had been siphoning my gas (the truck sat a lot between hunting seasons) and when they pulled the hose out it was peeling off curled green rubber strips that were getting sucked up in the pickup tube in the tank. 1980 pickup didn't have a pickup sock. I didn't find out until the third or fourth time that I replaced the fuel filter and found a green dangler hanging out of the fuel line. the line was packed with the stuff and the engine would run fine at idle but would starve for fuel after running down the road a while. this problem got worse and worse until I couldn't drive more than a few hundred feet at 1/4 throttle. after sitting a couple of minutes it would restart and repeat.
The only other possibility that comes to mind for your issues would be a clogged catalytic converter (do you even have one? what truck do you have?)
