a friend of my bosses was talkign to me the otehr day about the 22r.. he is way old but he was saying that there is a sleeve that installs in the crnak pulley/harmonic balancer and it extends the life of the motor or something... nayone know about this?

 

speedy sleeve? all it does is save the balancer

 

yep, the front and rear main seals tend to eventually groove out the harmonic balancer and crankshaft seal surface, respectively. the speedi sleeve makes a nice new sealing surface so the lip of the seal isn't in a groove.
