20r head removal

Hey I am a new owner of a 78 toyota pickup (actually motorhome called the little chief). I got a great deal on it but partly due to a blown head gasket. I've already torn down most of the parts to get to the head but I can't budge the head from the block. As far as I can tell i've removed all the bolts but there are 2 allen key slots on top under where the cam was. Do these need to be loosened or can they even be loosened? I've never worked on a toyota before so its' different than anything i've seen. PLEASE HELP!

no .. those big allen bolts are coolant passages ..

BUT .. under the distributor (you need to pull the distributor) is a hidden bolt into the timing cover ..

12MM head ..

Yup, hidden in a little pool of oil at the very front of the head there's a bolt. Even after that, though, it should be a little tough. I can't remember where but once you know that you've got all the bolts out, you can pry against some areas of the head. Just make sure not to damage anything.
