20/22R compatability

20/22R compatability
Hello all,
After pulling my engine and realizing I need a new block, I searched craigslist and found a fair price on a block with rotating assembly and picked it up. Its from an '86. I heard that my '79 20R head with fit with a PRE-84 block, so I decided I'll just build a 2nd gen 22R for it. Or will the '86 22R block fit the '79 20R head?
