I have a Frankenstein 82 yota it was rolled when I bought it and I bought a 83 2wd cab and have throttle cable problems apparently they are different between 2wd or 4wd so I am confused on what to do. Also I have the stock power steering box and I can't figure out why the banjo pressure tube leaks with the copper washers it would be very appreciated if I could get answers soon because I got a wheelin trip comin up on the 24th thanks in advance!

 

If that picture is of your problem area, I would assume that paint is causing the issue. Have you tried scraping it off, in the sealing area?

banjo fitting could be leaking because it is 30+ years old.
pretty sure my 81 power steering doesn't have banjo fittings

 

Thanks for the replys!! The truck is a 4x4 with a 2wd cab,the threads are fine it's a 2wd cab so the 4wd throttle cable is different I guess i have a 2wd throttle cable and 4wd even the throttle petal linkage is different from 4wd. So basically I'm trying to swap out the 2wd cable for the 4wd cable. And your probably right dropzone I'll get a pic on here of the banjo style fitting

 

 

Okay so Nevermind about the throttle cable got that fixedso now just need to figure out the power steering problems.
