1979 Lowest Vin for sale?...

Came across this 79 for sale, vin # 000050, could be the earliest 1st gen still around? Not sure that justifies the asking price though, if it was a Limited Edition I'd be interested....cool find anyway.

How are you going to prove that it is really #50?

Okay, but without it being posted, no one knows of the guy is bluffing.
That's all I'm saying.

#50 or #1000 could care less, someone with the last production number could have taken better care of it. Not seeing mileage or much info at all.

Looks clean but the production number to me is worthless.

The vin # makes it unique for conversation purposes, thats about it, now if it was vin #1, meaning the first 4x4 Toyota truck of the generation well that would be just cool and raises the value to some. I contacted the poster, he's been the mechanic for the truck its whole life and got it from the original owner. He thinks the truck has rolled over mileage twice so she's been well used. He's got the original paperwork showing it really is the 50th built. Yeah if it was on the east coast the price isn't bad but the high miles bring it down in my eyes.

I've been eyeing this one. It's right here where I live. Asking price is way to high though.
