Been thinking about taking my AC out of my truck for a while and decided to finally do it. I haven't taken it out yet, but it will be the complete system. Its a r12, but everything works great. Open to offers, I'm located in socal (San Diego area).

The only price I've heard is from a local junk yard, they said they would usually sell for around 300. As they typically over charge I'm not sure how much its actually worth. Any one have experience buying or selling one?

 

I have seen them on eBay for around 150 to 200 depending on condition. That's with out a compressor though.
I need everything from the a/c compressor mounting bracket to the condenser., controls. Everything. I want to convert my 85 which is heater only, that doesn't work very well in Phoenix.

If your willing to take everything out clean and can include all the little details I would do $250 shipped. Let me know.

 

I won't be able to take it out this weekend, wife is making me go with her to see family... Ugh. Hopefully next weekend though, then I'll clean everything up and post some pictures
