I was never able to go through a full tank of diesel before I swapped the engine. When I bought the truck with the diesel in it we filled it up, then I drove from a few miles east of Indianapolis to just outside of Columbus Ohio and my gas gauge barely moved. However, my truck has never been able to get much over 60 mph as it is so that might have been why it did so well.

is this the 2L diesel? I wish you weren't so far away lol. I have a turbo sitting in my garage right now that would be perfect for it. I would have to see how hard it would be to put the R150 behind this.

You read that correctly; my truck, the diesel engine and all the pieces to make it run, plus everything other piece I own for the truck including stock 85 front seats, W56 transmission, a ton of interior pieces, and lots more. So the truck and the diesel engine have been sold to a friend of mine. However, he is keeping the truck FI, and is unsure what to do with the diesel engine. He told me he wanted to sell it so the diesel engine and all accessories are still for sale. He said he would take $300 for it all.

Sorry for the late reply Murfy101. The price has been dropped to $200 for the entire diesel swap (engine and all). This is an amazing deal on the entire package. The price is low to make a sale.


The engine and all swap pieces are in usual condition for a used engine. That being said, everything is still in nice shape. Plus, it all ran great before it was swapped out.

 

***Update*** Diesel engine and swap are on sale for $200. This includes everything for the swap. I need to move this engine fast so someone can get some use out of it.

I think the most hilarious part is this engine has been for sale for 4 years. Lol, I hope someone actually buys it. Original price was 1500. Now down to 200.
