L50 transmission for sale

I have a L50 trans that has 130000 miles on it and is in real good shape. Fifth gear doesn't work it needs a new bushing. $325 shipped anywhere in the states or $200 pickup.

Sweet man I'll be coming home sometime in March I'm still trying to find tickets at a decent price but I'm sure it will be March and latest April but it would be great to have someone help with the install since this is only the second time I've pulled my tranny! I think I found a fork for it but I need to confirm that it has the round piece to hold the pilot bearing! Thanks for the help and stuff man

You have a pilot bearing that goes in between the flywheel and your throwout bearing has to be pressed into the collar

Yep sorry I couldn't think of the name for it but thst what I'm talking about my friend says he has the whole thing and he'll send it to me for $5 plus shipping so I'm probably going to go that route after that I should have everything thing needed to make the swap except the bearing itself and I'll get that new from a parts store. I'll sure take you up on the help if your still willing to?

I would be very happy to help you, and if I was you I would get the higher end bearings I don't like to cheap ny on things like that just because of how hard it is to change, how is your rear main seal

Just changed it out the last time I pulled the tranny to put in a new clutch a few months back when I was home I pave been going through it as I can and when the money is there and the 5spd sounded like a good upgrade since I'll be doing a lot of traveling after March and the 5thgear will help gas millage
