tube bender
how many of you out ther have a bender for tubing. ive wanted one for a while and have always seen these ones at harbor freight does anyone have one like these, and how hard is it to bend with it. any feedback would be cool. late.

and either i suck at using it, or i'm not getting something.
for slight bends it's at best ok, but for steep bends it kinks.
don't waste your money, i started using "weld L's" you can get them in 45 and 90 degrees, alot easier than bending.
and either i suck at using it, or i'm not getting something.

That POS you guys are looking at is a PIPE bender...and that is a stretch...a good tube bender setup is going to cost you $500 plus and tubing dies are $250 EACH.
Pipe and tube are NOT the same thing at all.
If you want to bend tubing, invest in a TUBE bender.

I have a JD squared model 3 bender. I like it and it isn't too pricey. The bumper that I made in the FAB section took maybe 30 minutes to bend, super easy to use.

I have a bunch of hyd rams at Pop's house we might even be able to convert over. Defiantly putting that on the short list.
