I pretty much use the Lincoln brand .
I am not sure if you are talking the manual ones or the air operated.
I have worn some plungers out over the years but nothing that can`t be replaced although they do get misplaced and driven over.
Not real sure what you mean by don`t last long. I have some going on 30 years.
I see that when you buy things and only use them your self that they last alot longer. Then if they are shop tools used by techs who rotate in and out every couple of months

what i mean is, i got a brand new one from the shop, and 2weeks later grease started bypassing the plunger. and the coupler on the end seams to get wore out pretty quick. the other guys that i work with seam to despise them also.. maybe they just dislike greasing there equipment and just need something to complain about lol.
can anybody comment on speed play guns?

lincoln was bought out by another company not long ago and their equipment is being made over seas now so they have been having nothing but problems from them. Graco is now the leader in the industry. I am a rep for both brands. As well as the best greases and oils on the market.

Im not sure man. I have been in this position for about 6mo now and I dont really know who all my competition is. Especially in Oregon. Im not trying to sell you anything but my company is Mantek. We may have a rep in the area you could hook up with. Other than that I could send you one. The only reason you would buy one from us is to get the 5yr warranty.
