This product is trash. Plain and simple. It's not durable at all. It scratches very easily. I've had several places that it came off in chunks when gouged by normal things you'd haul in a truck bed. Not being rough at all. In fact, factory paint is more durable than this product. I'm going to sand blast it all off. It looks awful after a while.

Sounds like you didn't prep it very well. Mine has held up great. My bumpers have no rock chips at all. I have put firewood, pavers, gravel, mulch, and much more in my bed liner and it has held up great. Yes it does get some surface scratches if you drag something like a paver across it, but what doesn't?

For sure as long as you prep it good. My bumpers still don't have any chips, and I know rocks have been hitting them. I plan on doing my rockers my self as they are all chipped up.

Has anyone used the colors yet? This might be good around wheel wells and rockers.

Does anyone know how cold it can be and still install this bed liner? Here in Chicago, the temps are now 55-35*.

Can I apply Monstaliner in the winter?

Yes, Monstaliner can be applied in the winter but cures best between 50 and 90° F. Colder temperatures and lower humidity will lengthen the curing process. Additionally, Monstaliner MUST BE APPLIED IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. If possible, the coating should be allowed to cure indoors at a minimum of 55°F in a ventilated garage or warehouse. If application is done outdoors, move vehicle indoors after application to provide a warmer curing environment.

With the aid of a freak storm pattern last weekend, the temps rose to 70* on Saturday and Sunday and I was able to get it rolled on. Eric from magnet paints returned my email on Saturday and reassured me I would be fine. I just parked it in the garage to finish curing. I'm very happy with the look and hope it lasts as long as everyone says.

The front mud flap was part of the factory running boards, so I canabalized them. I trimmed them to extend slightly below the rocker panels and then attached them to the fender flares. You can see them under the truck. Why so short? From what I could see by how the fender and mud flaps attach down there, without the running board to support them, a good chunk of ice or mud would easily bend up the lower fender. Later this week I should have received my new chrome Westin Nerf bars and will have more picture then.

Subscribed....I bought some in a different color black--the pyroclastic I believe--in the fall 2012. When I finally get the new doors and fenders I got from the pick-n-pull primed and ready--my cousin and I will finally get my 94 painted. I will post pics here.

Any updates on this? Curious on the longer term durability.
Is shoveling gravel and dirt going to scrape it off the high points like the paint over time.

I really like the look on your bumpers. I haven't seen that done before.

Any idea on how it might hold up on plastic? Like FJ factory bumpers?
