Elocker guard reviews
I searched and didn't find the particular guard, so here goes..
I am looking at the various companies elocker guards, and I saw this one on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Rock-...sories&vxp=mtr which seems to be a combination of the two main designs offered by the leading manufacturers. Has anyone used this guard? Any reviews or opinions?
Thanks!

Looks to be well made but the shipping from Pa to Ca is going to be a tad expensive .
If I had a Elocker i would buy this because I could not make one for $45.00 at my normal shop hourly .
Figure out the shipping that would be the deciding factor for me.

Bottom Skid Plate 1/4" Steel
Top 3/16" Box Tube
Motor Protector 1/4" Steel Pipe
Completely Welded....NO Tack Welds!
I have sold many of these and no one has ever complained. Awesome part! Construction solid! Zero issues! Are just a few of the comments I have received.
Didn't know we were running a beauty contest!
I make these in my home garage by hand. I use an old 1/4" steel pipe to make the cupped part that protects the motor. Yes it is pitted but even in the worst pit it is not any less than 3/16". The rest of the guard is made from new steel. Once the old pipe is all used up it will be new too. I am sure that none of you have never reused a piece of old steel! In my findings the old steel is better then the new steel! If you look closely at the pic's on Ebay you will see the pits there too. The guy who is complaining said at first when he looked at them on Ebay they looked GOOD pits and all. Never said I was professional. Doesn't anybody build anything at home anymore? Between me and the guys I wheel with at Rausch Creek we have tried all the others out there and bent them all thats the only reason I started making these and trust me I'm not making a killing on them, just a fellow wheeler trying to help out. Thanks!

Just saw this thread, I have one of the ebay ones and am completely happy with it.
It looks EXACTLY like in his picture above and is super solid. Pits and all...if I wanted a show truck I would have bought one of the other "fancier" more expensive ones.
