"Laughing my tamborines off" hahahaha...you know I have been thinking that my next "maintenance" item would be a new set of wires for my T100. I'm very glad I read this post because I was contemplating the duralast. Very true about the important parts should equal high priority on quality.

Auto Zone recommended "Bosch" plugs for my other vehicle (yes I own a 'Jeep'ers Creepers too) come to find out, Jeep MUST HAVE whatever is recommended by the manufacturer. The "upgrade" in plugs that I was convinced of, was not good. It is sitting in my driveway with a misfire problem.

My T100 just recently was revitalized. I am a beginner shade tree mechanic so to speak. I have to say though, she cranked up after 2 years of sitting in my driveway. After some replacements such as oil change, valve cover screws were a little loose, timing belt, water pump, radiator, idler pulley no. 1 and 2 plus the tensioner and 6 NGK spark plugs, she is purring so pretty! The Jeep is jealous! After doing all that myself, I don't want to buy a part that is going to potentially ruin the work I've put into it.

BTW, if anyone has any suggestions on something that might help give her a good cleaning internally, I'd love the suggestions. I've used Seafoam in the past but being the yota sat up so long, I want to be "gentle" with her. Thanks for the original post about this wireset! Much needed info in the pursuit of the perfect purrrrrr!

Sparkplugs.com shows that PN applies to 93-95 22RE's.

671-4003 is the PN listed for 79-88 Pickups/4Runners, some Celicas and Coronas and a few Saabs.

I guess I am wondering if the Denso's are really recommended as good quality.

I have read some people feel NGK makes the OEM wires, some think Denso, but many have reported seeing Sumitomo printed on their stock wires.

yeah, sorry, I didn't know the plug wires would have changed much on the 22RE.

Any thoughts on the Denso's quality?
