Yankee Hill and then some

Well Photoleif, Jonathan and myself ran Yankee Hill to find out where this one trail ended up at,

the first half of Yankee everyone knows, pretty simple,
but just after Poser rock, most of ya know that little rock quarry, well i figured i have to give it a shot.
so we went to give it a look over, man was that dirt soft, lol (yea, Im making excusses lol) I just couldnt make it, that was pretty steep.

so out comes the winch.

when we turned off to find out where it went, it was a little narrow, I thoought no biggie, I just buffed my baby out, whats a few pinstrips, lol, well that darn trail got tighter and tighter, almost took out my passenger side cargo window, we think it was an ATV trail, so we had to back up, and get turned around, lets just say it was a blast, for me anyways, lol.
Then we went another trail, part of a creek, heres Leif taking the harder line

then Jon even did the harder line also,

check out his tube doors.
heres me doing my thing

We did meet a family in a Jeep, they seemed to be reall nice, polite, so they rode with us pretty much the whole day.
just have to throw this pic in

it was a great day, perfect weather, great company, met some nice cool new people.
Photleif, thanks so much for taking all the pics.
Jon, your getting alot better, or should I say braver ?

no problem. it was indeed a good day and fun to go wheeling with you guys. note the conspicuous lack of a license plate on the front... i'm pretty sure it got ripped off by that hillside we had to drive into, when we had to turn around on that pseudo-two track ATV trail. ric, is your window ok? i was concerned that the aspen was gonna shove it in. when you have time, i'd enjoy seeing some more of the photos posted here. got any of those harder lines from head-on? those would really be cool in 3-D.

good crew, fun run...

Nice pics. I spent the day hiding in the shade with a respirator trying to finish my body work. Still more to do.

Nice job jon, soon you'll be up to doing this (its my brother driving, i'm the one standing under the bumper, but only about 3 or so feet of actual wheel lift)
