Twin Cone Run 7/3/05
Well, after hearing about the great trip some of the guys here had on father's day, and after missing out on wheeling on Saturday due to having to work and repair my window, my brother and i went wheeling together, and it was a blast. He drives a 1987 Pickup, and it's stock. Most of the pictures are of him, since I had the digital camera. He shot a lot of video of me, but since it's not a digital video camera, i have no idea how to load it up onto the net. Anyway pictures are here Pictures

You western folk sure have it nice:dry trails, not much humidity..... Here's a pic of Jutty(trekker) from our last run. This was a typical situation from the muddy midwest.....big stumps, lots of mud and winch cables. Mind you he's locked and run'n 35's. You guys want to trade trails just for a day? Not any longer though, I'm afraid I will begin to miss the hardwood forest's, and all the color we have here in Ohio.

I did make it up the center road, not the far right. I made it on the first go, so, i didn't really try the far right, so i don't know if i could make it up or not. My bro had to take the bypass. To save time on the way down, we both took the bypass.

I also tried the right hand side of the obstacle in your second picture. We have some nice video of the gastank scraping along the rock, as well as me trying to figure if my driveline is going to be okay. I just backed off. I really like this brake bias technique. It's not quite as good as a locker, but it works pretty well. All i have to do is click on the ebrake about 3 or 4 or so clicks, and BAM that tire on the ground really goes. Makes it nice.
