Twin Cone Oct 13th 2007
A few pics from the run today. We didn't go all the way to the top of Twin cone. The soil was very loose and it would have been a lot of fighting with some likely body damage for vehicles like my 2nd gen (with step panels). Ric made it up past the last obstacle and he earned it. We met a few Jeep guys that were really cool. They got out to be helpful with picking lines etc. Both the TJ and Rubicon were locked front and rear and made it up with only a little problem. Ben, in the Tundra, made it about half way with open diffs. Even with those big 'ole 35" tires it was still a challenge with the loose soil and the larger rocks. I decided to save this last part of the trail for the day when I get an e-locker or at least some armor.
I had a great time today. Thanks for the good company and the good spotting. My running boards are still intact. Woo hoo!

Haha this is so funny. Ben is really not picking his nose and Edie is not really looking at Ben. She's looking at Ric.

I think it's safe to say this tree is already dead
