Socal, JV, On the Rocks and Boulder Dash.

Went out with the FJ crew today. Wheeled Cougar Buttes area. Did one of the newer trails called On the Rocks. Afterward we made our way about 1/2 mile to the north side of cougar buttes where we ran Boulder Dash. It was some pretty epic wheelin. I had to give my 33's a good farewell trip

I almost flopped, was pretty close. Theres a video of that coming later.

The day started out with, well, way too many rigs. And an FJ40 that couldn't idle. As well as a few wheelers who weren't used to this terrain (but thats okay!).

On of the first obstacles was this ledge. Which some bypassed.

Troy going up!

On the other side.

One of the FJ's getting some 3wheelin on a different obstacle.

Jeff..

I thought Jeff was going over for sure. But he pulled it off.

Dougie fresh

After that.. we made our way to boulder dash. On the way we lost about 8 people and I think we were down to 6-8 rigs.

We finally got to an optional line. I gave it a go, tagged my front drivers fender and backed out. Troy went in for it.. moved this large boulder out of the way and tagged his doors.

Not to be outdone, I figured I'd give it another shot... Almost flopped, but I made it. Yes, I took a strap to the rear passenger bumper to give a little weight. I was close to going over. Real close.

Pictures will never do this justice...

One last shot...

We were almost through with the day, and glen almost flopped.

Slider kept him from going over...

Doug getting flexy!

"GIVE ME SOME CAFFINE!!"

the group

I'll add the video doug posts later..

Not really. Shocks are limiting droop. If I put a longer shock in I'll have to limit up travel. It's a trade off really. I'm going to throw a couple of my stock leafs into this allpro 3" pack when I upgrade my front springs. I'll be an inch or so taller but I'm thinking I could fit in a 12" short body 7100.
