My brother and I ran this, since it is like 15 minutes from our house, on the 14th. It was fun, but I got REALLY stuck some mud pits that aren't on the loop. Took like an hour to get unstuck, mainly because i kept thinking i could get out with out getting towed. I was wrong. So we hooked up the chain and my bro pulled me out.

Those trails look stellar. How many miles of a run was it?

 

Awesome pictures. I love that trail. I've heard of those off-lood mud pits, but wasn't able to find em.

 

I dunno, it's like 5 or os miles all told, couldn't tell you an exact number.

The mud is straight. So, if you go in the road, and don't turn at the first sign, which is to run the loop counterclockwise, you'll get to the second sign (which is to run clockwise) don't turn there either, and just head straight another 1/4 mile, you'll get there.
