My first post in two months at least Been busy, we also went to MD for a 3 week vacation.

This was by far not a demanding 4x4 trip, but we choose the most demanding route.. tho it was not difficult. You can drive there on the main road even on a regular car, tho I'd not reccomend it.

Landmannalaugar draws it's name from the springs and the local natural hot water pool. This is a very popular tourist attraction.

The coming weekend is the biggest travel weekend here in Iceland. the monday is a holiday for most people so it will be busy. We're planning on going into the highlands, try to avoid the crowds.
