looks like tons of fun
It's a blast. I've been out multiple times in other people's trucks and once on a quad, this last trip was the first time taking my own vehicle out. With a lift, I'm sure it would have been even more fun. On the heavily traveled "lanes" between the entry point and the various sections of the park, the ground turns into really dense whoop sections where I slammed the undercarriage a couple of times. By day's end I was paranoid as all get-out and basically creeping through those areas. It was like being out in 3-foot seas in a 20 ft boat.

It's also a great destination for clubs and forums. My favorite group to watch so far was the Defender club that was out there the same day as the H1 club. Those Defender boys pulled out a lot of Hummers that day

You also run into a ton of unique builds outside of the typical long-travel buggies and lifted 4wd. Last time I was out there, I saw an old modified UPS truck running around. Time before that there was a WWII medical wagon converted to an extremely capable & beefed up 4x4. It was the coolest.

The first half of this video is from Silver. It's not a yota, but it's got great shots of the dunes and it's kinda fun! (not sure if embedding works on YT, so I'll just post the link)
