Spent a week in AZ visiting relatives and traveling to Globe to watch and learn from the Ftoys.

Great event. My junk wasn't ready for this one but will be in Cedar City Utah in July--then Cougar Buttes in September to finish the season.

Hey Mark I was supposed to be out there, but work decided to do a server upgrade that same weekend. Sorry I missed out, our PR person said it was a great time. She gets to go to Moab next (I'm so jealous). Maybe I'll meet you at another WE Rock event. What do you think of the Rhino RTV?

 

I'll be back out West in July for Cedar City Utah and then to L.A. for Cougar Buttes in September. Met soooo many great people this past week.

Rhino...well, I talked at length with the owner of the company because those things ran the same courses as the Ftoys. Poorly engineered. If they just got a different motor, relocated the links to the top of the axles and did something with the the GAWD AWFUL belly they may have something...more work needs to be done.

It was awesome. Saturday pulled a dumbass move and blacked out from dehydration and was transported to the hospital and had 1000 ml of fluids on an IV pump and was back by 4.

Sunday put 3 gallons or so down by noon and was good for the day...It was 90 but didn't feel like it at all and man is it deceiveing.

INCREDIBLE week and weekend on the Rocks..no doubt.

Will any of those guys be coming to the event in columbus in May?

 

Nope...Ftoys only run out West for now. Hopefully...(knock on wood) it will move East in the next couple years.

Also, this was the first time the Ftoys have ran W.E.Rock. Normally, they run ProRock series. 3 of the 4 this season are ProRock.

This past sunday watched 4x4 tv on Spike, and they had a highlight on the columbus we rock from May. I was a judge but didn't make the camera's of course. I did see Mark Vanmeeter several times though never a face shot.
