the video doesnt do justice... this section of the trail is actually pretty steep and lots of trucks flip in this rut. im glad you guys like the video. ill be posting more video footage from the same day.

the place is called "peacock flats" on the west side of Oahu. you need to get a permit to go up there and youll have to go through an air force security gate to get to the trail.

I spent 5 years out there and never know of it. looks cool. Is the air base your talking about Hickum?

 

not hickam. im not sure what its called. its basically an air force defense base or radar/satellite station? it has those huge white golf ball looking things on the top of the mountain. its all the way northwest of the island by the makua training range and on the other side of the mountain is mokuleia and dillingham airfield.

its cool to ride the trails up there because theres still old WW2 military water tanks with bullet holes, old military signs and barb wire fences right off some of the trails in the mountain.

 

Great video, those are some great rigs, don't see many yotas in upstate NY. Makes me miss the islands.
