Went and ran the Devils Peak trail in Jean, NV, just outside Las Vegas. It was a 3.5 out of 5 rating and had three really challenging obstacles. Went exploring in some abandoned mines (only went in about 50 ft so there wasn't much to explore) On to the Pictures:

Yeah, you gotta find somethin to do on your only day off during the week lol This desert wheelin is a new thing to me, for how dry and barren the desert around Vegas is there are actually some really pretty areas in the middle of nowhere...and some good trails.

Yeah, its sick! He didn't go up the whole trail though, he doesn't have the armor needed for the ledges and tight squeezes, he did say he'd make me a good deal on the front axle when he replaces them with widetracks

 

I am sitting here on day 9 of a cat and dog downpour here in the PNW. Those pics made the rain go away for a while!!!

haha thanks yeah we had some rain in Vegas last week and it flooded quite a bit and the mountains got some good snow, but this week has been nice and sunny I can't wait to get back to CA in the summer though! I need some REAL mountains to go wheelin in

Nice pics! It always surprises me when I see these because in the pictures the trail looks really easy. From doing a little mild wheeling I know for a fact that pictures lie! It always looks easy from the keyboard.

Thanks! Ah yes, the seats....haha that was quite the project, very tedious but well worth it in the end. They're out of a 93 Mazda MX-6...got em at the junkyard on a half off day for $50 and they are nice!! And they look almost factory...here's a link to better pictures if you're interested:
