Cascade Creek Pics 4/30/05
This was a while ago, but I found out that a person I go to school with is also a yota fan. So we planned a trip and decided to go to cascade creek. We both had stock vehicles, and this was my first "real" time up wheelin so we chose an easy trail.
Though, once we got up into the trail we came to a point where it forked in the trail, not knowing what to do we went straight and ended up at a part that had a least 6 "Posted: No Trespassing" signs on the trees. Matt thought he read on 4x4trails.net that it was a public acess road. So we continued up. About 50 feet we noticed a dog came down the hill barking at us and an old guy sitting on the back of his truck, and he had an creepy smile on his face and seemed a little to happy to see us. So we threw it into reverse and booked it outa there.
I asked on 4x4colorado if the trail was public acess or not, and they said that it is but it is private property on the sides of the trail.
We went back and started up the other way in the fork, which ended up being the right way for that trail. We didn't make it all the way around the trail because of somewhat heavy snow. It was a fun trip, I loved it... now for the part anybody cares about... pictures!
