Carnage June 4th 2007 night trip

4 rigs.
red 4runner - Troy and Molly
silver 4 runner - Isaac
Taco - Rich
FJ - Una

Started about 7pm.

Good times.
Dody Bamage on all 4 trucks.
Rich put a little dent in his driver fender/door area
Una got a scratch on full passenger side and slider ☺☺☺☺ed a couple rocks and ground faked her exhaust in reverse
Molly got Troys
passenger fender and corner light
Troy got his driver fender hardcore
Isaac got his driver body panel behind door a little

a couple hangups but overcame all. molly got tugged twice, una winched once.

then when leaving.. molly riding with una... lotsa girly talk, ignoring dirt road... i found THE ONLY rock and got hung up on it really bad with my rear diff that i needed spotting off of it LMFAO... leave it to me to need spotting on a dirt road with one rock on the whole thing.

Looks like it was fun. Don't fear the body damage, it's all part of the addiction!

That faux skidplate on the GFJ has seen better days.

My fakey one is removed before every run.

Actually it was my rear fender, lowest front part.

i was pretty pissed. The only thing that kept me from flipping out was that it crunched part was also the rusted out part, and i was going to cut it and fix it anyway.

I know it is silly on an old truck like mine, but i want to keep it as clean as possible. I also know that dents are part of wheeling.

What really pissed me off was that, had i had adequate sliders, and not my POS ones, i would have probably driven the obstacle, and been completely fine. Instead, the driver slider kickout broke, and sent the truck into the rock.

I also drove like crap the entire rest of the night. Hit my front xmember twice, and my rear axle once. Just plain idiot driving.

Compared to Molly and my supreme example of 'wheeling prowess, you did very well...

Hey that wouldn't happen to be a front tow hook off of a Volvo simi-truck, would it?

Too bad the batteries went dead on all three of our cameras - there was a lot more interesting footage that could have been shot!

Don't sweat it. You saw my idiot driving up at Spring Creek. I don't know what was with that day, I beat up my truck real good. And hey, your POS sliders are better than the wanna be nerf bars on mine!

Lightforce 240 Blitz's - they are AWESOME. I don't think the 3.0 could propel the truck fast enough to outrun the lights!

I don't drive at night anymore, just carry daylight with me on the front bumper!
