Calico April 8-10

Went out there this weekend with TTORA SoCal. Great place and I'd never been before. I participated in the Medium/Hard run which was Odessa Canyon and then the Hard group went up Doran Falls while the mediums got out and watched.

Very neat place and if you've never been I'd recommend checking it out. Some pictures can be found on my MSN Space.

Dude, how far of a drive is it from north county? I haven't been there since before I could pee.

We should plan a group trip.

It's just past Barstow about 10 miles. 2.5 hours or so.

Tedd, I almost went on the run, had the weekend off, but decided to work on my rig, getting it ready for the Jamboree. Rebuilt and modified two axles, then took out my stereo system to test fit the new one and the ICOM. Unfortunately it was too windy to do any welding, so the new rear suspension won't be ready in time.

Looks like I would have had a fun, oh well next time.......

It was way too windy & cold Fri night so I just left early Sat and then came home after the run. Its not much further than a JV trip

That place is fun to wheel in! A good tune up for the Jambo. The 37's and BL's help lots!!! I also swapped out the MC for a GM 1/2 ton MC and the brakes are way better. The new bumper worked out well too, the jeepster needed it to winch from.

I also have some small fine tuning to do for the Jambo as well
