May have to look into something like that. Crap, mod fever may be beginning again. I told myself I was gona leave this one like I bought it. Oh well, as you can see with the car in my sig, Im good at buying mods. At least I'm good at something.

 

By looking at your sig, you've got a stock t-case behind a stock 22R pushing 37's with 5.13 gearing. That's got to be tough. Putting dual cases (or even 4.7 gears in your t-case) would help you out a bunch. There's no way you'd ever get me on a trail like BV Carnage with a stock 22RE and a stock t-case with big tires.

Your truck would be a completely different monster if you had dual cases

 

What kind of axles are you running to have 5.13's?

More seat time is the solution to most things! My method is clutch in or clutch out - I try to modulate the throttle instead of slipping the clutch. More predictable IMHO.

If you want to go dual cases (or even a low geared case) - I have 2 top shift gear drive cases for sale...

 

I believe the t-case has marlin cralwer gears in it, just the stock case without the dual kit.

 

I have dana 44's. Im trying to do just that, clutch in or out. But reflexes tell me to push in the clutch whenever i get off angle. With my motor in my car, I cant really afford to mod the truck for a while until my car is completly finished. I do need to pick up a stock t case cover from another member here and get that in because the one that was on there found a rock in carnage.

 

The dual cases was my best puchase so far. Before I had them trails like Boulder carnage were tough and I would have to work the clutch way too much. After the cases it seems like you can go up anything.

It looked like half of them were on 1 tons and 38-40's. Most of them agreed that it's way tougher than any years past and tougher than Patriot at Indy. Woooooooooo hoooooooo I made it on 33's

There are two Carnages. Boulder Carnage is rated usually about a 4-5 difficulty and Buena Vista Carnage is a 10.

 

Ahhh ok.. I was thinking BV on this thread meant "Boulder Valley" haha.. too much imagination. WOW a 10? I'd have to ck that out.. not in my rig though.
