deck plate mod

IMO, it's not worth the $20 and the hour it'll take you to do it. I saw no increase in gas mileage, and very little change in performance. I didn notice that it seems easier to keep the truck in the higher RPMs (over 4k) with the deckplate, but that's really the only change. That's a benefit to me about 3 times a year when I tow my boat, but probably not much good for the average person.

Hey,it's a proven 7-8whp even if you can't tell and it makes a good conversation piece with other Toyota nerds and it was only $12 and 45 minutes to do.

Like Mark, I also have a dyno sheet that says 7HP difference. It does make a difference.

I did it, and i'm glad i did too. there is a noticeable difference, especially if you do the isr mod along with it.

What's wrong with buying it off the net? That's the exact place I got it and it came within 5 days...awesome mod, highly recommend it!
