Video Quality on HDTV from laptop
I have a 38" Sony CRT HDTV in my office with an S-Video connector. I wanted to run my laptop too it. Everything works great except the resolution isnt very clear. I realize it has to stretch the picture, but its kinda fuzzy/blurry...you can see what your doing but you'd strain your keys after a 20 or so minutes.....is that normal?..anyone else have this problem? is there any other settings I should adjust. I have the res set too 1024x768 or whatever it is, but even when I turn it too 640x400 everything get bigger but its still fuzzy. I dont see any setting on the TV to adjust it too look nicer.
Its not like a bad wire fuzz/snow either....its just poor quality....

Even the HD TV has a little over half the resolution of any monitor so I isn't going to be as clear no mater what You do. Most HD TV's have a VGA/SVGA connector you might get better results with it. At least I do anyway. If it doesn't then try a VGA to component video converter and use the component video
