When I do rebuild the server you shouldn't see any difference. We aren't going to reformat, just reinstall windows.

Oh, OK.
I thought you had to format and put everything back on.
Major work there.

Honestly, I've done it enough times that it wouldn't be that huge a deal. Hopefully it'll fix any problems. Let me know if you find any more maps that I don't have on the server.

We ended up having to reformat the server, but that's ok. Seems like the 64-bit edition has been messign things up, so that is probably the culprit with UT as well. I need to put UT back on, but that will only take 20 minutes or so tonight. Everything is just as it was left, maplists and all.

Cool.
Work is playing games, they are keeping us late on buildup days (Mon, Tues, and possibly Fri.)

Hopefully I will be home in time to join in at 7 PM.
My youngest son is bringing over his PC so we can format it Saturday.
I can put this game on his, but it uses a key.

I wonder if it is the type of game that will not let two PCs with the same key play the game at the same time?

He is a very good player at any game he plays.
But his main game right now is WOW (World Of Warcraft)

All is good on my end. Ther server is back up. It MAY go down for a bit when we install a new network card, but that shouldn't be a big deal

Good game guys, and the server was running mighty good too I might add.
Perhaps we should move the time slot back to 6 or 6:30 PM?
From 7 to 8 it goes to quick.

Not use to playing Onslaught, a lot harder than regular death match, but fun to drive the rigs.
The Manta is a blast to drive.

I will try and add the Invasion game to the list tomorrow.
That is pretty fun.

Hmmm, no lag for me.
Just found a cool site linked off of UTs site.

They have a site and forums.
Here are some Easter eggs I will have to explore tomorrow.

I've seen them too. We're actually having trouble getting this thing to run correctly. Also, it's sharing my apartment's (cable) internet connection and hosting multiple websites and email.

It's an Athlon 64 Shuttle XPC running an, I think a 3800+ with a Gig of RAM. It's currently running Windows Server 2003 but we're having trouble with the installation. Corey, Steve, and I all get an average of say...25-35 ping on average. The problem is every once in a while it'll hickup and I won't be able to move or I'll move somewhere I didn't go. It's not the best server around but it's exclusive.

Again, Server IP and password are:

24.249.204.175

yt

I'm moving my Grandma tomorrow so I may not be playing tomorrow.

I had a bit of lag, but not bad. Not sure if I'll be available tomorrow either, might be working on the truck.

OK, I got Invasion added to the play list
When you enter the server, if it is playing another game type, hit Esc and go to the map voting page.

Choose Invasion from the drop down list.
There are about 5 or so maps loaded.
The first one that loads is like Far Crys beach scene.
Even the creators of the map referred to Far Cry in the description of it.
It is called Archipelago in case it is not loaded and you want to select it later.

Short 5 MB vid

All weaponry is on, plus low grav and big head.
If you die, you are out until the next round which comes often.
Your goal is to attack the incoming wave of monsters, not other players.

Dudes...

Many who know me know that I am a Stargate nut.
Seen all the old ones many times over, and continue to watch them every Monday, Friday, and Saturday night.

Found a website with a total mod conversion for UT2004 with Stargate
http://www.unreal.fr/stargate/
I do not think it is totally finished yet though.
Lots of screen shots there.

So I got the UT2004 server to run as a service, so down-time should be negligable now, Running as a service means it runs when the computer boots and I don't have to log in and start it.
