GPS that works in Iraq?

So im getting ready to head over to the sandbox, does anyone have any suggestions for a good GPS, I want something reliable, and easy to use as im sure if I have to call in a 9 line I wont be all that calm. Ive also heard that some models dont work over in the middle east?

Anyone have any suggestions, Ive heard good things about the Garmin Etrex Vista i think it was? Thanks!

talk to l33t3st (jason) as he just got back in January. He had a garmin and showed me all the points on his gps.

He'll prob have some first hand experience on what works and what does not.

good luck

any standard US developed-gps unit wlll work.

only thing that will degrade or totally turn off the system is the US military deciding to black out a specific area.

otherwise, look for a good SEALED unit... lol...

good luck over there.
